PHOENIX RISING THERAPY LTD WELCOMES YOU
PHOENIX RISING THERAPY LTD WELCOMES YOU
My name is Dagmar (Dags). I am an experienced Person Centered Therapist/Counsellor (MBACP). I provide a confidential service to young people (11yrs and over) and adults.
I use effective therapy methods to help you gain a better self-understanding and to encourage new attitudes and feelings towards life situations. More importantly, I with you to help you to find solutions that will last.
Therapy can provide an opportunity to acknowledge the times in our lives when we struggle with thoughts and feelings that seem to have no end or solution in sight.
Therapy is not only offered to people in distress, sometimes clients may wish to discuss and resolve issues or challenges they may be struggling with. This can be done in a relationship that is more confidential than friendships.
Sometimes there may be circumstances to explain our actions, such as bereavement or illness, yet at other times we may have no idea why we think and feel the way we do. Therapy can help you explore and clarify thoughts, feelings and behaviours to find a happy balance.
The way I work is always client focused. This means that I will work with the client and find ways of working that fits them.
I believe that therapy should fit the client rather than the client fitting the therapy.
No two clients respond in the same way.
I work using the following: - Person Centered, Solution Focused, Cognitive Behavioural Techniques, Ego State Therapy and Quantum Consciousness Therapy. I am always looking to improve a clients experience by introducing alternative ways of working.
Please contact me for more information or if you have any questions about therapy
There will be an initial assessment that typically takes between 15 - 30 minutes. This will give me the opportunity to briefly find out what brings you to therapy, but more importantly, the assessment gives you the opportunity to ask any questions. Thereafter sessions are typically on the same day/time weekly and last 50 minutes.
It is essential to keep in mind that therapy is not a magic pill or quick fix: it is a collaborative healing process between client and therapist alike. The goal through making small changes is to bring life-changing results.
